Congratulations, Spring Brook 2025 Scholarship Winners!

Here at Spring Brook Ice & Fuel, we will always be indebted to our community and the hardworking people who make it such a special place to live. That is why our involvement in community scholarships, charities and events is so important to us.

Giving back to the community through the Ernest Groth Memorial Scholarship is both an honor and a joy for us. Each year, our company recognizes four graduating students from New Britain, Newington, Plainville, and Berlin who are pursuing a business degree. Each honoree receives a $1,000 scholarship in memory of our former owner, Ernest Groth. Pictured below with our awardees is company president Gregory Stafstrom.
