Locally Owned, Community Driven
It was over 100 years ago that Spring Brook Ice & Fuel first began chipping the tops of frozen ponds and delivering ice to the residents and businesses of New Britain. It was a time before refrigeration when people used ice boxes to keep food and perishables cold. We still deliver ice to our customers, but it doesn’t come from surrounding lakes anymore!
The customers of Spring Brook Ice & Fuel aren’t just “customers” to us. They are our friends, neighbors, and family members. Without their trust in us to provide dependable services, we would not have been able to grow into the full-service home comfort company that we are today.
We will always be indebted to our community and the hardworking people who make it such a special place to live.
Community Awards & Recognition
Rotary Club Fun Run Raises $15,000!
Spring Brook Ice & Fuel was proud to be a part of the Rotary Club of New Britain-Berlin’s 5K Fun Run, 1-Mile Fitness Walk and Children’s Costume Parade at Stanley Quarter Park. Our company sponsored the event, and we were at the park volunteering and cheering on the nearly 70 registered runners, walkers and kids in costume! $15,000 was raised to purchase paddleboats and maintain the recreation area for the city’s paddleboat recreation project.
It was a great day for a great cause!
