Spring Brook Ice & Fuel Is Featured in the Hartford Courant
We’re proud to be featured in an article in the February 15th issue of the Hartford Courant, entitled “Every Day Is Like a Fire Drill.”
The article’s title refers to the challenges of delivering fuel to customers before their tanks ran out due to the recent brutal winter weather. The article included photos of Spring Brook Ice & Fuel trucks and quotes from our company president, Greg Safstrom; Jack Safstrom, oil dispatcher and Greg’s son; and Roger Rose, Jr., our lead oil delivery driver.

Rotary Club Fun Run Raises $15,000!
Spring Brook Ice & Fuel was proud to be a part of the Rotary Club of New Britain-Berlin’s 5K Fun Run, 1-Mile Fitness Walk and Children’s Costume Parade at Stanley Quarter Park. Our company sponsored the event, and we were at the park volunteering and cheering on the nearly 70 registered runners, walkers and kids in costume! $15,000 was raised to purchase paddleboats and maintain the recreation area for the city’s paddleboat recreation project.
It was a great day for a great cause!

Spring Brook Ice & Fuel could not be more honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Connecticut Energy Marketers Association (CEMA). Thanks to their continued efforts in promoting and protecting our industry, local and family-owned businesses like ours are able to continue serving the communities that we have dedicated our business to.
