When you think of Spring Brook Ice and Fuel, you might picture ice deliveries, fuel trucks, and friendly HVAC service technicians, but behind the scenes, our team is always looking for ways to give back. From volunteering time to sponsoring events like the CT RACE IN THE PARK on May 10, we are proud to support causes that uplift our neighbors!

Racing Toward a Cure Together!

One of the events we’re most proud to support is the CT RACE IN THE PARK, taking place this year on May 10 at the beautiful Walnut Hill Park. This annual event is a cherished tradition dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research in Connecticut.

Participants can join the 5K Run, 4K / 1 Mile Walk, Kids Fun Run, or even take part virtually from anywhere between May 9–11. It’s a celebration of hope, strength, and community values that resonate deeply with our team at Spring Brook. 100 percent of funds raised stay in Connecticut, supporting research and care where it matters most.

As a proud Pearl sponsor, we see our involvement not just as a donation, but as a promise. A promise to stand with survivors, honor those we've lost, and push forward with purpose.

Check out this amazing promotional video put together by the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative to get a glimpse of the event!

A Century of Community Commitment

Since 1918, Spring Brook Ice & Fuel has been more than a service provider, we’ve been a neighbor. From the days of harvesting ice from local ponds to becoming a trusted name in heating oil, Bioheat® fuel, and HVAC services, our mission has remained the same: serve our community with care, dependability, and integrity.

Our ties to New Britain and the surrounding Connecticut communities go beyond customer relationships. Whether it's boosting local businesses, backing youth initiatives, or contributing to important causes, we believe our job extends well beyond the doorstep.
